My Journey Through Life…

Now i am 9 months old and this morning Mummy and Daddy saw i had one of my top teeth through! Thats really cool because now i can bite things properly Mummy found that out this morning when she let me hold her finger and put it in my mouth! Hehehehe I didnt bit hard but Mummy says my teeth are very sharp, just the thing for crunching up food!

I can say the word ‘ta’ now too and when i want something i always say Ta and i get it! Apart from Mummys tea this morning because she kept saying it was hot and ‘no ta’ and didnt give me any until it was nearly all gone I dont think it could have been that hot as Mummy was drinking it all the time but it didnt matter how many times i said ta she didnt give me any Mummies are mean sometimes!!

Mummy and Daddy keep talking about this Christmas thing and how many presents they have to buy, i dont know what Christmas is but Mummy says she has finished shopping for me and there is lots of new suff in a big box that Mummy wont let me look in   So i think it is something when i get bigger

I like reading books now and my favourite is one called Poppy Cat Thats funny because there are lots of bright colours and different food in the book! I have lots and lots of books on the bookcase but Mummy and Daddy wont let me have them just now, they said i have to be bigger to read them but i just want to look at the pictures and scruch up the pages! Its not fair that they wont let me play with them, they make a much better noise than the thick cardboard books!

I really like being on my feet now! I can crawl very fast and laugh so much when someone bangs on the floor behind me and says they are coming to get me! I also really like pulling myself up to stand but havent got the hang of sitting down again I have to stand and shout (Mummy calls it whinging!) so someone will come and sit me down again. I can walk around the furniture now and can go from one end of the room to the other!

I learned to crawl properly!! There is a new video of me on my photo page from the day i learned to do it! I can get to the other side of the room in no time at all now and its funny to see Mummy getting up and down all the time! I can pull myself up to stand on the gate across the kitchen door and do that all the time to talk to the big black and white hairy thing, sometimes i get stuck though and have to get Mummy to rescue me

Mummy started to put the coffee table in front of the fire because i got really good at pulling myself up on that too and now i have practised so much i can stand just holding on with one hand!

I dont have any more teeth yet though but the two i have are really cool and i love to crunch things with them I can also wave bye bye and clap my hands! Daddy says i am learning thing really fast now but i dont think he is right, i still cant run across the room or tell them i dont want to go to bed in proper words, i really have to learn that one as Mummy and Daddy still put me upstairs at night

It’s time for me to have lunch now and I love my food so i have to go!

I discovered how to get moving now! It was a little scary at first and i only went a couple of centimeters but now i have been practising and i can move all over the living room!! I really like the tv unit though so i go over there most of the time and see if i can get the cables or switch on the sky or play with some buttons before Mummy or Daddy come over and move me! Thats really not fair because it took me ages to figure out how to get there and now i can they stop me!! I am still a little cautious though and dont crawl lots and lots. mostly i will crawl a little then sit on my bum and stretch to reach what i want!

Mummy took me for a long walk in my pram today! It was really windy but i was so warm and cosy in my pram with a thick cardigan on and a blanket over my feet and Mummy put a woolly hat on me but that kept falling over my eyes when i moved my head to see things better! Silly hats!

My Daddy has lots of pictures of babies on his computer, mummy said it is called a screen saver or something like that. I want to know why he has all these pictures of babies there though! Some of them are just born and some are a little older and there are even some of me! I know its me because i can seemyself in the mirror and know what i look like!

Tonight is Bonfire Night but i dont think we are going anywhere, Mummy says it is too windy and I might get scared at all the banging from the fireworks. I dont know what fireworks are so i dont know if thats true or not but it would be nice to find out!

Another thing i can do is pull myself up onto my fett at the gate on te kitchen door! Thats really good fun because the big black and white hairy thing comes over and tries to lick me but Mumy and Daddy dont let him. Its funny when he talk to me too but i dont understand what he says. I dont like it when he shouts though, thats scary and very very loud and he makes me cry!

Ok its time for my afternoon nap now so i better go.
